Headline features

• Web Links, File Links, Folder Links, Apple Shortcut Links - four new first-class item types that sit beside apps in the same Stacks, Groups, Categories, and Screens.
• Heterogeneous Stacks and Groups - mix any item type in one container. Launch Stack browser override forces one browser across a Stack of Web Links.
• Unstack, Ungroup, and Stack-type switch - release a Stack or Group's members back into the parent Group or Category with one action. Convert any Stack between Normal Stack and Launch Stack any time, without rebuilding.
• Unified Add Link picker - six cards: Web, Safari Bookmarks, File, Files (bulk), Folder, Apple Shortcut.
• Library catalogue - File › Add to Library (Cmd-N) and Manage Library (Cmd-L). Add anything, launch via search, with or without placing on a Screen.
• Menu Bar launcher - five styles (Classic / Grid / Compact / Mini / Micro) plus a Spotlight-style Fuzzy panel. New Pinned section. Per-keystroke adaptive width. Hide any category, group, stack, or app from the menu bar.
• Notes and Labels - hover any item for its note. Per-note styling. Labels as global presets. Plain-text .ANO export. Notes / Labels search in Advanced Search.

Snapshots and Live Preview

• Hover Snapshots for Web pages, PDFs, and image files (PNG, JPG, HEIC, GIF, WebP, TIFF, BMP). Master toggle in Data Usage, default OFF.
• Live Preview window - embedded WebKit panel beside the launcher with browser-style chrome. Per-link size mode.
• Per-link cache lifetime picker (Never / minutes / hours / days), stale-while-revalidate, per-link Capture Delay for slow pages.

Dynamic entities and themes

• Top, Recent, New Apps dynamic Groups and Stacks - per-type filter (Apps / Web Pages / Files / Folders / Shortcuts). New Apps fires on app install detection.
• Three new themes - Flow 12 Chroma, Flow 13 Claret, Flow 14 Vapor. Flow 1 Ember (default) upgraded to 4K HEVC.
• Three new TexturedNote styles alongside the original Textured style.

Performance and quality

• Cold start 80% faster on a 121-app library (~7.0s to ~1.4s).
• Edit-mode wiggle rebuild rate dropped from ~6,000/sec to ~60/sec at 100 tiles. Edit Items right pane lazy. Search debounce.
• Hundreds of UI, scroll, snapshot, and stability fixes across every surface touched.

Preferences and reliability

• Per-item-type After Launch Action - Apple Shortcuts default to "Do Nothing" so they no longer hide AppTela.
• Safari bookmark import - preserve folder hierarchy as nested Groups, or flatten. Duplicates skipped automatically.
• Check for Updates with in-app Message Center for actionable nudges.
• Data Usage preferences pane - per-item-type tracking, all OFF by default. Reset All button.
• Check Links validator - walks every Library entry, surfaces broken targets, opt-in HEAD probe for Web Links.
• Preferences-cancel data-loss fix - closing Preferences after adding screens or items no longer reverts those additions.
• Window position survives quit and AppKit savedState wiped pre-launch so SwiftUI does not restore stale geometry.

• 29 Color Themes and 26 Display Themes - choose from static wallpapers, animated backgrounds, frosted glass, and gradient themes. Each display theme is paired with a coordinated colour scheme.
• Animated Video Backgrounds - seven bundled animated themes: Ember, Spectrum, Prism, Aurora, Eden, Radiance, and Flux. GPU-accelerated and seamlessly looped.
• Custom MP4 Wallpapers - use any MP4 video as your background. Loop, play once, or replay on each screen change. Adjustable speed from 0.1× to 4×. Separate settings for windowed and fullscreen.
• Redesigned Preferences - slides in alongside your layout with collapsible sections and live preview, so every change is shown in place before you apply.
• Right-click Context Menus - full menus on apps, groups, stacks, categories, and blank space. Move, copy, rename, remove, add to groups or stacks, and create new containers - all at your cursor.
• Integrated App Search - find any app installed on your Mac from the search bar and add it to a category directly from the results.
• Expand Stack Transition - a peel-away animation when opening stacks.
• App Launch Animation - visual feedback when opening apps.
• Shadow Effect Triggers - shadow spin and raise effects with configurable timing.
• Dynamic Window Sizing - minimum width now adapts down to single icon width.
